Liquidation

Just like other sectors, banks are actors in a market, where new and established entities come and go. However, when a bank closes it can unduly affect customers. Therefore, the sector ensures a close cooperation with the political system so that ordinary customers do not lose any money if a bank closes. Bank customers can continue to pay from their accounts via cards, apps and in other ways and that ensures that the transition to another bank is as painless as possible for the customer

Bank closures take place without risks to private customers or taxpayers.
