Tax is a factor that affects all financial decisions. This applies to individuals, companies, the banking sector and society as a whole. Banks in Denmark deliver a stream of information, which the Danish Central Tax Administration, SKAT, uses for citizens’ tax returns.

The banking sector is one of Denmark’s largest taxpayers and it finances a considerable part of our collective welfare through corporate income tax and payroll tax.
